How to Ride FrontRunner
Riding the Train
- Please wait behind the yellow line until the train comes to a full stop.
- Push the “open door” button to enter.
- Watch your step while boarding the train. There is a narrow gap between the train and the
platform. Station hosts will be available to assist persons with disabilities by placing a
boarding ramp between the train and the platform.
- Push “open door” button to exit.
Bike Policy
- Bikes are permitted on the lower level of bi-level FrontRunner cars in the designated area near the exits.
Weekday Hours of Operation
- The first train leaves Ogden at 5:08 a.m.
- The last train leaves Ogden at 12:38 a.m.
- The first train leaves Salt Lake City at 4:25 a.m.
- The last train leaves Salt Lake City at 11:25 p.m.
- Trains run every 30 minutes from start of service to approximately 6:30 p.m., then every 60 minutes until closing.

- The first train leaves Ogden at 7:08 a.m.
- The last train leaves Ogden at 12:38 a.m.
- The first train leaves Salt Lake City at 6:25 a.m.
- The last train leaves Salt Lake City at 11:25 p.m.
- Trains run every 60 minutes all day.

Fares
- Cash Fare: $2.50 base fare, $.50 for each additional station (maximum fare from SLC to Ogden is $5).
- Premium Day Pass: $12.50.
- Family Pass: $12.50 (two adults 18 and older and up to six children under the age of 18, good for one round-trip from 5 p.m. to closing on weekdays, anytime Saturday)
- Premium Adult Monthly Pass: $145.
- Reduced-Fare Premium Adult Monthly Pass (Seniors): $72.50.

Paying Your Fare
- Be sure to purchase your ticket before boarding. Ticket vending machines are located at the entrances to the train platforms.
- Select desired ticket, fare, and method of payment and continue on to the platform to board the train.
